About Us

Write Wing Media is all about the written word. From the moment it takes shape in the head to the time it goes into print. It’s a content marketing and custom publishing firm where readers come first. From syndicating content to writing and editing magazines and coffeetable books to designing newsletters, journals and pamphlets. From content marketing to bringing out books of fiction and non fiction to providing sticky content for websites and blogs, including the design and content generation for CEO blogs, we do all things publishing, both offline and online. And this includes green card applications, executive momos, business plans and resumes, among others.

Write Wing Media is the brainchild of Zahid H Javali who is a journalist since 1996. He is the Editor and Publisher of Residents Watch, a monthly neighbourhood guide on HSR Layout (Bangalore) and the co-author of Mind Blogs 1.0, a book of non-fiction, and the Festival Director of The Times of India Literary Carnival held in January 2014. More recently, he was featured in Tuhin A Sinha’s book, Daddy: The Birth of a Father. His experiences appear on more than 30 occasions in the book on parenting brought out by Harlequin.

Besides running his media house, Zahid has freelanced as editor/writer/photographer for offline and online media entities in the US, UK, Singapore and India, including Live Mint, The Man, The Lonely Planet, PC Mechanic, Work Awesome, Workforce, The Sunday Guardian, Worldstart, SilverKris, M, Yuva, Exhibit, Trendy, Live IT, South Movie Scenes, CineCurry, Percept Knorigin, Starkworld Publishing, Windows & Aisles, MaXposure Media, Saatchi & Saatchi, Touchdown, Air India Magazine and Men’s Health, among others.

He was previously the City Editor of Mid Day, Bangalore and the Consulting Editor of  Travel & Shop and Bengaluru on Friday. Even before that, he was the Chief of Bureau (Bangalore) for Explocity Private Limited, powered by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp.
